You can tell a lot about a couple by how they handle a rainy wedding day… Emily & Joshua took everything in their stride on their rainy wedding day at Lamonts. The heavens could have opened up and flooded the city and it wouldn’t have mattered because they were getting married to each other.
Good things happen to good people in my opinion, and just when we needed to be heading outside from the shelter of the marquee for photos with the family & bridal party the rain just stopped… just like that. I’m sure it would’ve been even better if it hadn’t rained at all that day but I’m the sort of person who is just thankful for little miracles!
Having photographed Emily’s brothers wedding a few years ago I was so excited to be reunited with this amazing bunch of people… the best kind of people in my opinion. I felt like I was surrounded by true friends, real genuine people having the best time. Emily’s brothers “Canberra rap” at the reception just topped it right off… HILARIOUS!
Emily & Joshua you know I think you are some of the best, most kind, and fun people to be around. Your wedding was perfect and I’m over the moon that I got to be a part of it all. Thank you a thousand times over! Jodie x
