Mary & Matthews Voyager Estate wedding was a joy to be a part of, they told me they fell in love with the venue from the moment they saw it, and who can blame them.
Weddings in Margaret River or Yallingup always get me excited. There is so much beauty in the South West, amazing scenery & not to mention some stunning venues.
Mary & Matthew’s wedding was an intimate affair, their nearest and dearest from Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and even the UK – They had planned the whole event from London where they had been based till only a few weeks prior to the big day (not an easy feat). The Persian wedding ceremony at the start of the reception was a lovely nod to Matthew’s heritage.
Hearing the story of how these two beautiful souls met by chance over east one New Years and how everyone just seemed to know that this was something special warmed my heart. Matthew’s mums beautiful speech about how things happen for a reason, how them taking a chance to immigrate to Australia to make a better life for their family gave Matthew the chance to meet Mary was just so touching and showed the love this family has for one another.
It’s days like this that remind me I have the best job in the world, I get to be around amazing people who are so in love, I get to capture moments in time and create memories.
Mary & Matthew, I can’t thank you enough for having me as a part of your wedding and I wish you both all the happiness in the world (and in the words of Matthew’s mum….. lots and lots and lots of babies!).
