Sarah and Warren Meelup Farmhouse Wedding.
This is a bit of an emotional one for me so I’m not sure just how much I will share.
Sarah and Warren were another casualty of COVID and all the restrictions. Their original wedding date and plans had to be postponed not once but twice due to lock-downs, which on the positive side meant they were able to change their venue to the stunning Meelup Farmhouse but in all other ways it was also tragic.
With the borders being closed none of Warren’s family was able to travel from the UK to be there on the day and saddest of all Warren’s mum, who so wanted to attend despite being unwell, passed away suddenly just days before their third wedding date.
I know the feeling of losing a parent far too soon, but I can’t begin to imagine the pain of being so far away from all of those you love at a time like that. It broke my heart.
Showing the truly strong and bonded couple that they are they stood together and listened to the pre-recorded reading by Warren’s mum at their ceremony. Hand in hand, there for each other. And I know that everyone there recognized how special that moment was.
I love these two for so many reasons. I respect them and I admire them. Above all, I wish them happiness. Jx
