Style, class, sophistication and a whole lot of family connection. That is how I would describe Ashleigh and Karl’s wedding. When I get to spend time with my couples families, and I get to see the love that they have for each other it always warms my heart. I love to see the parents so emotional, so connected to the moment.
Without even knowing it, I gravitated to this green chair in Ashleigh’s parents room for some photos on the day. To my surprise, Ashleigh’s mum explained that it was the very chair she nursed Ashleigh in when she was a baby. It’s funny how sometimes we just know something is important or special.
I’ll also cherish that moment that Ashleigh got to reveal her dress to her Dad and best gals for the very first time. Their reactions were just so special, it was a moment that you just can’t replicate.
Ashleigh and Karl’s wedding was another one of those days where I’m reminded of how wonderful my couples really are. I’m truly blessed to meet such amazing people through my work, and getting to spend one of the most important days of their life with them is just the cherry on top!
Ashleigh and Karl, you are both wonderful people and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for including me in your day. Jx
